PIP recognizes that early identification and services for children with sensory loss can significantly optimize developmental potential.

PIP is a home-based program, foster activities in a variety of natural settings using developmentally appropriate practices. The Parent Infant Program strives to provide EI services and coordination including...

       • Support parents in their efforts to understand their child’s hearing or vision loss.
       • Support parents in understanding their child’s unique needs.
       • Provide resources to parents to prepare their child for further education.

The Parent Infant Program is a division of the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind and a partner with the Utah Department of Health and Baby Watch – Early Intervention (BWEIP). PIP is a publicly funded program serving children and families statewide.
