Volunteering for USDB

Thank you for choosing to volunteer with the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. Through your efforts we are able to offer many essential programs and services to children with hearing and visual impairments.

Volunteering your time often means a great deal to a student and your personal care, attention, warmth, and friendship are invaluable to a growing child.

USDB offers a variety of volunteer programs and services for students with sensory impairments. These activities include classroom instruction, field trips, residential living activities, sporting activities, and campus improvements options.

If you have a special skill or interests that you would like to share with USDB, we are eager to work with you. Stop in and talk with us so that we can find a volunteer position that works for you and meets your needs and those of USDB.

Contact USDB Volunteer Coordinator, Lisa Diarte at (801) 629-4741 or lisad@usdb.org for more information! We look forward to hearing from you!
