Welcome to the Office of Public Affairs and Development
Lisa Diarte , Secretary, Volunteer Coordinator & Activities Coordinator
Our mission is to provide resources and information in order to foster the spirit of understanding and collaboration between Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind and the community so that we may work together to provide quality educational services to children with sensory impairments throughout the state of Utah.
USDB Public Affairs Department works with staff, parents, businesses, governments and community members to provide a clear understanding of the role of USDB in the education of children with sensory impairments.
The PR office works to create a spirit of teamwork and collaboration within our community, state and among various interest groups in order to accomplish our mission.
PR staff work to provide funding and resources to support increasing demands on existing budgets (volunteers, materials, funds, in-kind donations) and supply information and incentives for improved staff morale.
