International Deaf Awareness Day

 

Salt Lake City, Utah (September 25, 2018) – Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind is hosting an afternoon of celebration for our students who are deaf and hard of hearing. To commemorate International Deaf Awareness Day, they will be having some fun and building their language skills at the same time, at the Salt Lake campus, Jean Massieu School of the Deaf 1655 East 3300 South in Salt Lake City. From 3:15 to 5:15 that day, about 35 students will be playinStudent Alexa Sloan in cap and gowng ASL hula hoop, elephant, headband, and banana games, and follow the leader. There will be 8 teachers and aides participating.
