Travel within the US or study abroad is not funded by taxpayer dollars. These activities are paid for with separate funds that were set aside specifically to enrich the lives of Utah children who are deaf or blind. These funds were set aside years ago, before Utah attained statehood. Learn more about land trusts.

A Tall Ship Voyaging is unlike any other kind of travel.  You are not just a passenger; you are part of the crew, and you work alongside others to sail the high seas!  Tall Ships are for the young and old, the Deaf or the Blind.  They are the perfect platform to build self-awareness, overcome personal challenges, and come together as a team.  I recommend it to anyone who wants something unique, challenging, and absolutely life-changing! -Captain Stitch
