Transition Fair
On February 12, 2026, USDB hosted its first Transition Fair. More than 20 vendors participated, providing valuable information and resources to support Deaf youth and their families as they prepare for the transition to adulthood.

ASL Communication
ASL Communication is a company that provides both in-person and virtual American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services. Their interpreters facilitate effective communication between Deaf and hearing individuals in a variety of settings, including education, healthcare, business, community events, and public services. By providing qualified interpreting services, ASL Communication helps ensure equal access to information and communication for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
Disability Law Center
The Disability Law Center is a nonprofit organization that helps Deaf and hard of hearing individuals understand and advocate for their legal rights. The organization provides information, advocacy, referrals, and legal assistance. Through its services, the Disability Law Center supports Deaf and hard of hearing individuals in accessing accommodations, addressing discrimination, and ensuring equal access and opportunities within their communities.
Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DSDHH)
The Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DSDHH), also known as the Sanderson Community Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, is located in Taylorsville with an additional regional office in St. George. DSDHH provides a variety of services and resources for Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing individuals, as well as their families.

DSDHH Case Management
Community Advocacy Services (CAS) team are case workers at the DSDHH. They are trained to assist people who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or DeafBlind. The team supports the following:
- They find and help people get services from government programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, food assistance, financial and childcare assistance.
- They teach people how to be independent and speak up for their own needs.
- They assist in finding and applying for housing options.
- They can refer to mental health counselor when someone needs it.

DSDHH Communication Assessment
The DSDHH Communication Assessment helps identify communication barriers that Deaf and hard of hearing individuals may experience in educational, workplace, healthcare, and community settings. The assessment evaluates communication needs and provides recommendations for accommodations and services that support effective communication and equal access.

5 Star Interpreting provides American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services throughout Utah, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, and Georgia.
The agency also offers free interpreting services for job interviews, helping ensure effective communication and equal access to opportunities.
Sorenson
Sorenson provides Video Relay Service (VRS) and captioned telephone services that support communication between Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing individuals through sign language interpreting and real-time captions.
Utah Independent Living Center
The Utah Independent Living Center supports individuals with disabilities in achieving greater independence through advocacy, skills training, peer support, and access to community resources.

- Gallaudet University is a federally chartered university primarily designed for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, offering undergraduate and graduate programs in an accessible, bilingual (American Sign Language and English) learning environment focused on leadership, research, and academic achievement.
